Resilience is how you cultivate strength to cope and thrive.

Hello There!

I’m so grateful you’re here.

I’m SaraJane {she/her} – the one behind Rising Resilient.

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by all the demands on your plate?

Ever feel as though caring for others is all you do, with barely any time left to care for yourself?

Do you feel as though you are running on empty and on the verge of burnout?

“When we liberate ourselves from the expectation that we must have all things figured out, we enter a sanctuary of empathy.”

Sonya Renee Taylor

It is normal to experience challenges and stress throughout our lifetime. In fact, everyone goes through difficult seasons of life, and at some point in time everyone needs a little help. How we move through these circumstances is often connected to our resilience. Here’s the good news – resilience resides within all of us. Let’s work together so you can rise up resilient and keep doing the good, important, work.

Resilience is not an absence of pain, struggle or hardship. However, resilience is how we create space and respond. When we cultivate resilience on a daily basis we are building capacity to hold complexity, integrate the mind and body, respond intentionally and live more fully.

If you can settle your body, you are more likely to be calm, alert, and fully present, no matter what is going on around you….. A calm, settled body is the foundation for health, for healing, for helping others, and for changing the world.

Rising Resilient aspires to work with individuals, particularly those in caregiver roles and professions, to explore and develop meaningful practices that support the well-being of individuals and communities. Allow Rising Resilient to share trauma-informed, mindfulness-based coaching, workshops and professional development with you or your organization. Together we can cultivate curiosity that leads to compassionate action in order to keep doing the good, important, hard work of caring for others so you can rise resilient.
