Trauma-informed therapy to cultivate resilience

for clients

You might be ready for therapy with me if...

  • You may look like you’re holding it all together on the outside, but on the inside you’ve been bracing, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or even stuck. You feel ready to experience a shift from the patterns you can’t seem to break.
  • You’ve tried therapy before and didn’t quite experience the shift you were hoping for. Now you’re looking for something that goes beyond the limits of “talk therapy” and will help release what the body still holds.
  • You realize that “powering through” is no longer working. You’re ready to stop fighting your body and start listening to it.

This work isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you; it’s about gently uncovering what’s been hidden and intentionally reconnecting with what’s been there all along. My role is to guide you through experiences that help your system organize and to hold space for you that’s both grounded and sacred.

My approach is holistic and embodied, moving therapy off the couch and into a space that is radically inclusive and—while never stuffy—always safe enough for you to truly unfold.

The Rising Resilient Methodology

The methodology is flexible, designed to meet the rhythm of your life.

  • Weekly Sessions: For consistent, ongoing support and integration.
  • Therapeutic Intensives: For those ready to do a deep dive and accelerate their healing in a concentrated timeframe.
  • Walk & Talk: For those who find that movement and nature help unlock their best insights.

Healing that moves beyond the mind.

Most traditional therapy happens from the “neck up,” focusing on thoughts and logic. But if you’ve ever felt your heart race or your stomach drop even when you knew you were safe, you know that the mind and the body don’t always speak the same language.

Starting where you are — in your body.

At Rising Resilient, we use a “bottom-up” approach to prioritize the wisdom of your nervous system to create a shift that is felt, not just understood.

Somatic Awareness

Your issues aren’t just in your head; they are in your tissues. By learning to “track” your internal sensations, we can release stored stress and move your body out of permanent survival mode.

Neuroscience

Rewiring the brain’s alarm system. This doesn’t just help you remember things differently; it changes how your body reacts to those memories, allowing the past to finally stay in the past.

Capacity Expansion

Building a larger internal landscape. By widening your capacity to hold both the hard things and the beautiful things, you become more resilient—not like a rubber band that snaps back, but like a tree that grows a new, stronger ring.

Relational Safety

Not stuffy, just safe. The most powerful tool in therapy is the relationship between us. I provide a space that is radically inclusive, gender-affirming, and human.

Individual Sessions

I offer a relational, person-centered, trauma-sensitive, and resilience-informed approach to therapy sessions. I specialize in life transitions, stress and burnout, anxiety, trauma, attachment, PTSD/C-PTSD, grief and loss. Both 30 minute and 55 minute sessions are available.

connection

Walk & Talks

Walk and talk therapy is a therapy session that takes place outdoors. This movement based approach combines benefits of psychotherapy and nature. Rather than sitting in a traditional office setting, we meet while walking (you set the pace) in a park, on a trail, or through a quiet neighborhood.

focus

Intensives

A different way to work together, intensives use a specialized format of treatment designed to consolidate months of traditional weekly talk therapy into a concentrated period, typically ranging from several hours to consecutive full days. By dedicating a concentrated block of time to your nervous system, you aren’t just “coping,” you are creating a profound, embodied shift that allows you to rise.
